Who we are
DARE TO DREAM AT PCS
Professional Children’s School provides a rigorous college preparatory program for busy artists, athletes, and innovators in grades 4 through 12. Young people in serious pursuit of their dreams can find balance at PCS, where traditional academic studies are met with an adaptable approach to accommodate the unique needs of each individual. See the top colleges and universities our recent graduates have been accepted to and attended: College Lists 2023–2025.
The PCS schedule is designed to be flexible, empowering students to take ownership of their studies in school while celebrating their career-mindedness. Through thoughtful advising, distance learning options, and customized scheduling, PCS students experience an educational environment that supports their social and emotional development as they become well-rounded contributing members of society. PCS alumni have become world-class musicians, legendary actors, successful lawyers, prominent journalists, prima ballerinas, and more.
We encourage you to attend one of our Admissions events. Our Fall Open House, monthly Middle School and Upper School Virtual Information Sessions, and Group Tours allow prospective families to learn more about the unique ways in which Professional Children’s School can fit their students’ needs. PCS is the ideal school for young people pursuing challenging goals, both inside and outside the classroom, and our Admissions events will give students and families the opportunity to meet members of our community including the administration, faculty, students, and parents. We also include time for questions at the end of each event. Register HERE to attend one of our upcoming virtual sessions!
Go to www.pcs-nyc.org for more information. Applications for Spring 2026 and Fall 2026 are open. FYI - we do not use the Ravenna platform for our applications, but you can access a link to our application HERE. PCS has rolling admissions so applications are never late! Please contact Lori Gigliotti Murphy, Director of Admissions and Enrollment, if you have additional questions or would like to schedule an individual call, zoom or in person meeting, which can be done HERE.
