BK Academy For Gifted Children

BK Academy meets gifted children’s needs where they are now. 

BK (Bellevue, King County) Academy serves highly gifted students from preschool to 3rd grade. BK Academy is a small school with an individualized curriculum and emphasis on social-emotional development. Dr. Meera Shin started the school to support her own gifted child and expanded it when seeing the needs of other gifted students weren’t being met with standard curriculum. The individual attention and support each child receives is why BK Academy stands out with neurologists, psychiatrists, and other cognitive experts in the region.
