Our one-of-a-kind co-teaching model pairs a master’s-level educator with a full-time speech-language pathologist in every classroom. Through this innovative structure, we deliver a rich, thematic curriculum that integrates literacy, math, science, social studies, music, visual arts, physical education, creative movement, and drama. Starting in Grade 3, students also study a world language.
We believe young children learn best in an environment that is nurturing, developmentally appropriate, and intellectually stimulating. At River, children are inspired to observe, wonder and experiment—supported every step of the way by skilled and compassionate educators. Our philosophy is grounded in The River School’s Pillars.
We provide a strong academic foundation through creative, evidence-based teaching. At River, children are inspired to love learning and to embrace and appreciate difference.
