Who we are
Lowell School equips children, ages 2.5 to 8th grade, to think critically, engage purposefully, and live authentically. Our engaging and challenging progressive program nurtures academic excellence, confidence, creativity, and curiosity.
We are located on an 8-acre campus across from Rock Creek Park, in the Colonial Village/Shepard Park neighborhood of Northwest DC. Students come from all over the DMV to be a part of our diverse, inclusive and purpose-driven community. Lowell offers students meaningful access to outdoor learning, as well as an indoor pool, state-of-the-art library, and thoughtfully designed classroom spaces.
