Who we are
Faithful to the Catholic Tradition and to our Dominican heritage of scholarship and service, Bishop Lynch High School promotes the development of the total person by bringing together a diverse community in a rigorous college preparatory environment where students are taught to strive for excellence, seek truth, and work for justice in the world. Founded in 1963 with 365 students, Bishop Lynch now enrolls over 1,000 students each year. In keeping with the Dominican tradition, the school mascot is the Friar and the colors are black and white. Whether in the classroom, on the athletic fields, through art expression, or leading in our unique House system, each Friar finds their place of belonging at BL.
