Who we are
Lakeside Educational Enrichment Program (LEEP) is a free four-week summer program designed for Seattle Public School students transitioning from elementary to middle or middle to high schools (for LEEP 2026, students entering grades 6 or 9 this fall).
Think of LEEP as summer camp meets summer school. Through engaging and fun activities and classes, LEEP aims to build students' excitement about school and learning. It also helps them gain knowledge and skills that will smooth the transition to middle and high school. LEEPers make new friends, discover new interests, and develop a new appreciation for learning.
Bus transportation, a light breakfast, lunch, and all required materials are provided at no cost to families.
This summer, program dates are July 6-31, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a strict attendance policy. We do not allow planned absences for travel, sports, etc.
