¡Bienvenid@s! Welcome to Escuela Bilingüe Internacional (EBI)
EBI is the East Bay’s only Spanish-English bilingual International Baccalaureate (IB) World School for students in PK through Grade 8. Our students grow up learning in two languages while developing the confidence, curiosity, and global perspective to thrive in an interconnected world.
At EBI, bilingualism is more than language learning—it is a pathway to deeper thinking, cultural understanding, and meaningful connection. Students become bilingual and biliterate while building strong academic foundations, creativity, empathy, and critical thinking skills.
As an IB World School offering both the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP), EBI provides an engaging, inquiry-based education that encourages students to ask questions, explore ideas, and take action in their communities and beyond.
Small class sizes and a warm, inclusive community allow students to be truly known and supported. EBI nurtures the whole child through social-emotional learning, arts and music education, STEM experiences, and enriching after-school opportunities that inspire exploration and joyful learning.
Through our Accelerated Spanish Program (ASP), students in Grades 2–8 can successfully join EBI even without prior Spanish experience.
EBI graduates leave prepared not only for success in top high schools but also for lives of leadership, purpose, and global citizenship.
