The Valley School

The Valley School is an independent elementary school for Pre-K through 5th grade students. We are located in Seattle’s Madison Valley neighborhood. In addition to your research here, we hope you will get to know us in-person, at our Preschool Play Date, Open House, Tour, Virtual Admissions Event, and other happenings listed on our Events page. 

Our Mission: At The Valley School, we ignite children's natural passion for learning. Our students develop an academic foundation and become joyful learners through playful work, purposeful play, and the practice of community.

Valley at a Glance

• School enrollment is approximately 70 students for 2025-2026
• Enrichment classes include: Creative Arts, Performing Arts, PE, Science, and Spanish
• School hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. with an optional half-day program for Pre-K
• Extended Day Program provides care before school starting at 7:30 a.m. and after school until 6:00 p.m.
• Tuition for 2025-2026: $36,920 (Half-Day Pre-K: $29,165) 
• Financial Aid is available
