Who we are

What Makes Hausner Unique?

Strong Academics Across Disciplines
Our TK–8 program integrates STEM, the arts, humanities, and Jewish studies. Students learn through hands-on, project-based experiences that connect science, technology, engineering, and math to ethics, history, and real-world problem solving.

A Culture of Inquiry
From their earliest years, students are encouraged to ask “Why?” and “Why not?” They explore big questions through programs like Philosophy for Children, developing curiosity, resilience, and confidence as independent thinkers.

Social & Moral Growth
Collaboration, empathy, and moral courage are woven into the curriculum. Students participate in experiences like the 6th-grade Ethics Bowl, where they debate ethical dilemmas with respect and insight.

Jewish Learning, Deeply Connected
Through texts, rituals, and cultural studies, students explore ancient wisdom in modern contexts. Jewish studies are integrated with STEM and humanities—for example, studying the science of light during Hanukkah or exploring astronomy through the Jewish calendar.

Commitment to Service
Each grade takes on meaningful community projects. In 7th grade, students design their own “Service to the World” initiative, supporting nonprofits and presenting their work to the school community.

Prepared for Lifelong Success
Hausner graduates leave with academic skills, moral courage, empathy, and a sense of purpose—ready to thrive in high school and beyond.
