Helios School provides a meaningful and challenging education for gifted students in grades K-8 through a dynamic curriculum that ignites excitement, develops deep thinking and stimulates connections in an engaged and caring community.

SUMMARY
- Private, secular K-8 school based on best practices in gifted education
- Transformative academic curriculum in project-based collaborative environment
- Multi-dimensional learning, including social and emotional development
- Ability-based math and literacy groups
- Electives offered: Art, Coding, Music, Mindfulness, Debate, Theater, Chess, Engineering, Digital Animation, LARP, Math Counts, Philosophy, Neuroscience
- Athletics Volleyball, Basketball, Flag Football, Cross country
- Outdoor education program including Camping, Gardening and Wilderness Village
- Low student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 10:1
- Full school day 8:15 am - 3:15 pm, Half-Day on Thursdays, 8:15 am - 12:30 pm
- After-school program, runs daily till 6 pm and includes themed activities during aftercare, along with wide variety of afterschool clubs
Our project-based learning environment provides the challenge, depth, and complexity that gifted learners need. Equally important, Helios students thrive socially, forming a community of true peers who are eager to explore deeply and engage with one another around their passions.
