The Carey School

The Carey School is an independent preschool and elementary school in San Mateo offering preschool and kindergarten through fifth grade.  Specializing in elementary education, The Carey School inspires curious, confident, and joyful learners and celebrates childhood in an inclusive, diverse community that nurtures kindness, respect, and personal responsibility.  The commitments that bring our mission to life are:
