The Newman School

The Newman School is a vibrant all-gender community serving grades seven through post graduate. We look for inquisitive, open-minded students who push themselves in pursuit of their passions: analyzing literature, investigating complex scientific phenomena, mastering an instrument, examining global challenges - wherever curiosity leads. Within and beyond our historic Marlborough Street brownstones, students explore nuanced ideas about the world around them.

• Boston as our Campus: Set in the heart of the Back Bay, the city is an extension of our classrooms. Our students train along the Charles River Esplanade, conduct research, and engage in hands-on, real-world learning through dynamic collaborations including the Boston Public Library, the Track at New Balance, New England Conservatory, Novartis, and NuVu.
