Marin Academy at a Glance

At Marin Academy, students develop deep knowledge, durable critical-thinking skills, and leadership experiences that empower them to analyze problems from multiple perspectives and transform their knowledge into tangible solutions. MA stands at the cutting edge of what's best in education, creating an environment where intellectual challenge and authentic joy in learning coexist.

There is not one type of "MA kid" - and that's by design. You will join a community of intellectuals, activists, artists, athletes, and leaders - often all at once - from many backgrounds all across the Bay Area. Here, your unique perspective enriches our learning community that blends intellectualism, creativity, and compassion with action. MA graduates stand out as passionate students who genuinely enjoy the process of learning and sharing what they know to make an impact in the world beyond themselves.
