University Cooperative School is an independent elementary school in NE Seattle serving Pre-K through 5th grade students.
For 50 years, UCS has empowered learners through a progressive, student-centered approach that connects academics to the real world - with a dynamic, experiential curriculum that is nature-enhanced, inquiry-based and arts-infused. We encourage children to take educational risks and challenge them to forge their own paths. Our unique pedagogy emphasizes intellectual curiosity, creativity, adventure, and community.
